I don't mind, but I guess seeing as we're settled on names, I don't want to hear an "EWWWWWW Ursula the sea witch." comment. I love it and that's that :) But sure, positive or constructive feedback is welcome.

Good luck! Glad you've found names you love!

Personally I love Augustin and Ambrose (less keen on Reuben) as well as Ursula and Paloma! Lovely, classic and not overused names - great choices!!

When are you due?

DottieRose · 21/07/2012 14:32

Beautiful names...... My faves would be Augustin and Paloma.....please go with Paloma it's so so gorgeous!! Smile

hugebluebump · 21/07/2012 14:34

I love all your choices - so refreshing after all the Albies, Archies, Evies, Millies around.

My favourites are Augustin and Audrey, but they're all lovely! Good luck!!

GetOrfMoiiLand · 21/07/2012 14:37

I really like all your names. They are great choices.

Ursula and Augustin are my favourites as well.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/07/2012 14:37

Don't like any of the boys' names, sorry.
Audrey is streets ahead in the girls' list imho.

How long have you got to wait? Your excitement is catching! :)

MoonHare · 21/07/2012 14:43

Ursula is one of my all time favourite girls names - thrilled to see someone (possibly) about to use it!!!

As a youngster I knew a teenage Ursula and she seemed so sophisticed it left a strong impression on me!

Great name choices all round.

shimmy0 · 21/07/2012 14:46

Paloma Faith :-)

shoobidoo · 21/07/2012 14:47

Congratulations on your imminent birth and lovely that you've found names YOU love!

Whilst it shouldn't matter what WE think, I really like Augustin and Paloma, but they're all great underused names - great choices imo!

mopsyflopsy · 21/07/2012 15:00

Good luck and glad to hear you've found names you love!

GetOrfMoiiLand · 21/07/2012 15:02

Love Paloma and Delphine! Reuben was our boys name but apparantly it's a girl so will just have to try again in a few years (it better not get popular before then!). Good Luck and congratulations on some lovely name choices!

birdofthenorth · 21/07/2012 15:04

Congrats on two lovely interesting short-lists! I love Reuben, Audrey and Paloma. Never even contemplated Ambrose but that's a great characterful choice, too.

What about middle names?

Will you come back post-delivery and let us know what you settled on please?

Good luck!

Badgerina · 21/07/2012 17:22

Oooooh I love Ambrose. We're having it as DS2's 2nd middle name :) I like Ursula too and Paloma is also lovely. Good luck!

winkle2 · 21/07/2012 17:25

Love love love Ursula!

evamummy · 21/07/2012 20:37

Good luck with the birth. Glad that you've found names you love!

phlebas · 21/07/2012 23:44

like them a lot :) Audrey & Delphine were both on our lists for dd1 & 2 and I really like Ursula! Augustin is great too.

persephoneplum · 22/07/2012 08:53

Thanks all so much - it might sound ridiculous but we're not due until later in the year. This baby has been six years in the planning though, so to have a short list after SO much deliberation over many years is a real breakthrough for us :)

Yes, you really were all so nice. Thanks :) I'm really hoping for an Ursula or Augustin but we'll see how we feel when he/she arrives!

I'd have Ursula or Audrey, & Reuben or Ambrose. Great names.
