Welsh (or maybe Cuban!) middle name

So, we've settled on Tabitha for her first name, but need something for her middle name. DH is Welsh, as is my mum, so it would be nice to honour that. Current favourite is Cerys - quite simple after the extravagance of Tabitha! We like Rhiannon, but it's too much with Tabitha.

My dad's family is Cuban, so I'd also be open to Spanish names!

Any ideas for something to go with Tabitha?

Mair
Ffion
Ceri
Eira
Elin
Iola
Lowri
Rhian
Sian
Seren

There are so many, but these are shorter, simpler ones that I think would complement Tabitha nicely. Love Tabitha btw!

Do you have any Cuban family names you could use?

suburbandream · 18/07/2012 12:49

Nia - means radiane/brightness ( I think she was a Princess in the Mabinogion)
Seren - means star

I love both of those - but we had boys Grin

What about a Cuban surname as a middle?

suburbandream · 18/07/2012 12:56

I love Nerys too, but maybe it sounds a bit "old lady", I am very old and used to love Nerys Hughes Smile

Tabitha Olwen

What about Efa which is the Welsh spelling of Eva but pronounced more Eh-vah than Ee-vuh - it could cover both the Cuban and Welsh requirements Smile
