I love the name Corey. But in the travelling community its another namee for someone who is a bit of a wanker. I think its a lovely though.

I immediately think of the 2 american actors Corey Haim & Feldman, probably doesn't help that Feldman reapearred as a weirdo in Dancing on Ice this year.

I taught a pain in the ass boy called Cory (no E) so it has negative connotations I'm afraid and looks like it's misspelt to me. Sorry.
