What's the first thing that comes to you when you see this name?

Is that really a name?

PetShopGirl · 18/07/2012 12:40

Lost Boys - Haim and Feldman.

MrsJohnDeere · 18/07/2012 13:11

A mother at school with that name who hates me

squoosh · 18/07/2012 13:12

Corey Haim. My first love.

Things didn't end well for him.

Stellan · 18/07/2012 13:13

A really naughty, unruly boy from my primary school days...

MammaTonic · 18/07/2012 15:40

A blue-eyed, bright-blonde-haired 6-year-old boy who used to live two doors down from us. He was always whizzing about on his little bike and was always enthusiastic and full of life.

'Hello, you've reached the Corey hotline' from the episode of the Simpsons where Lisa is obsessed with teenage actors called Corey.

Missboobyvontits · 18/07/2012 15:54

I think of the Jane Fonda character in Barefoot in the Park one of my fave
ever films!

Works for girls and boys.

klaritaf · 18/07/2012 15:55

PrettyInDecadence · 18/07/2012 19:02

I love the name Corey. But in the travelling community its another namee for someone who is a bit of a wanker. I think its a lovely though.

Dogsmom · 18/07/2012 19:18

I immediately think of the 2 american actors Corey Haim & Feldman, probably doesn't help that Feldman reapearred as a weirdo in Dancing on Ice this year.

ellesabe · 18/07/2012 19:38

I taught a pain in the ass boy called Cory (no E) so it has negative connotations I'm afraid and looks like it's misspelt to me. Sorry.

wigglesrock · 18/07/2012 19:42

I know 2 - one spelt with the e, one without. There are both lovely, funny and very friendly.

RightUpMyRue · 18/07/2012 19:43

Being told Corey means a big cock.

PrettyInDecadence · 18/07/2012 22:08

Didn't know about the traveller thing, that's something to think about.

If you decide against Corey, there's always Rory or Jory.

UnSocialite · 19/07/2012 19:11

That it's a nice name :)

bakedcheesysausagemeat · 19/07/2012 19:42

Corey Taylor (lead singer of Slipknot & Stonesour), then the 2 actors already mentioned.

I quite like it & would've used it if DH didn't veto it as to him it sounds too close to 'corny'.
