A middle name for Rose?

We have finally decided on a name for our very soon to be born DD; Rose Mallows, and we were wondering about a middle name. I was thinking something along the lines of Elizabeth (Hubby had a hideous old Aunt with that name so unfortunately that one is out) but can't really think of any others that fit. I really don't want to change the order of her name and would rather have no middle name than change them around - has anyone any suggestions?

I think that one-syllable names are tricky to put middle names with. Rose is one of them, along with Grace, May/Mae, Niamh.

Personally, I would aim for a 3 or 4-syllable middle name, such as:

Rose Carissa
Rose Felicity

To my ears, Carissa Rose and Felicity Rose flow better, but that's not necessarily true; it's just how the names sound to me. I understand that you'd rather have no middle name than put Rose as the middle name.

HTH!

I think three syllable or more sound better with a one syllable first name. :)

Rose Elizabeth was my instant thought on reading your title,
But all the suggestions are great.

Rose Romona or Rose Rebecca wave lovely slightly unexpected ring to them.

I'd have a Rebecca, but she's an Ex of DHs and he vetoed it.
