In the last couple of years, maybe 2/3 Dexters, 1 Rocco, not sure about Esther, maybe 1. I'm a midwife so see lots and lots of babys!

If you don't want popular, do NOT pick Jacob! OMG, the amount of Jacobs this year....!

None but I imagine lots of babies will be called dexter!

I don't know any Dexters or Roccos. There is one Esther at my DD's nursery, and a good friend's brother named his daughter this about 5 years ago. I really love the name, and it would definitely have been on my list, but it was vetoed by my DH who knew an adult Esther who was as mad as fish....

Isnt Rocco the name of son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie? That would be enough to put me off, sorry.

No Esthers or Dexters, but I know 4 Roccos. One of them is DD's friend, and is lovely, and the other 3 are absolute terrors.Although I'm in America, so that might not help much. But the 3 of them are such absolute nightmares, I couldn't not comment about it.

I know one Esther, who is in her 20's. I love the name!

I love Esther but as our surname is Williams I was vetoed.

Yes, Madonna has a Rocco but doesn't bother me. It's a name from my area of Italy so has a significance / history to it for me way beyond her.

Dexter is dp's favourite. I do like it but think its getting pretty popular in London.

No Dexters or Roccos. One Esther, who is about 8.

I think Esther could well make a bit of a comeback, but can't seeing it being a top ten name.

No Dexters, have come across a few Roccos in the park, and know some delightful Esthers - classy name :)

Esther - one absolutely horrid, spoilt, 13yo "mean girl" who bosses around her followers friends. Horrid horrid horrid girl so can't really comment on the name itself as I just think about her

Dexter was our second choice for DS,but we stuck with a family name that suits him to a tee.
