I know it has been high on the popularity lists and I do like to avoid those names but it's growing on me. Where does it stand now? What are your views?

it is popular, yes, but it's also been around so long I think it makes it a little more 'classic'?

I like it - I know 2 Ethan babies, both big cheerful boys that you can imagine growing up to be really decent and cheerful fellas.

I do like the name Ethan a lot but I am not so taken with 'Efan' which is what the Ethan I know is mostly called

I'm not keen personally.

I have an Ethan. Around here it is pounced Ee-fern. I do not like that.
