Having baby number 4,a boy.We have decided on Ivor, dhs choice,i love it too though, reminds me of a graphic designer or something :)

Middle name is up to me as we dont have anyones name we want to use.I like Marley, but just thought i would test the waters, asits still a secret(first and middle name).

Surname is just one syllable.

Trouble with "Ivor" is it it the answer to all those jokes.
I can't get past that I'm afraid Sad

BonnieBumble · 10/07/2012 22:56

Marley seems to be gaining in popularity as a girls name although I believe it started out as a boys name. Don't know if that would bother you.

Cuddler · 10/07/2012 22:59

Back for good-I have no idea what you mean? Are you drunk?

Oh do you mean Ivor biggun?

That doesnt bother me tbh, firstly its not the first thing that comes to my mind, and the jokes are rubbish anyway!

I haven't had any alcohol for a couple of months or more as it happens.

It's not you that would be repeating the jokes though - I'm thinking of the lad in the playground.
However, if you've considered it and have decided you don't mind him having to go through that, then, as they say, it's up to you.

usualsuspect · 10/07/2012 23:09

I like Marley , Ivor not so much.

VolAuVent · 10/07/2012 23:21

Yes it's fine :)

mamalovesmojitos · 10/07/2012 23:30

I like it Smile

Cuddler · 11/07/2012 00:00

Well tbh i don't really think its anything to go through, its a really lame joke, not funny, not offensive.....i was asking if you were drunk because your first post was incoherent.

I like the 2 names, but also feel awkward about the "Ivor Biggun" aspect of the name. I prefer Ivo because of that - pn eye-vo OR ee-vo - both pns sound good.

Ivo Marley sounds great Grin

bananaramma · 11/07/2012 07:23

I think Ivor is a lovely name! Marley is fine as a middle name, you rarely use it anyway.

bigroundbump · 11/07/2012 16:34

love Marley.

Moominsarescary · 11/07/2012 17:04

I don't think they sound great together

passivehoovering · 11/07/2012 17:09
