hi

I'm expecting a dd in november and I heart the name Dottie - OH doesnt like it and has vetoed all other suggestions previous to this one (Jemima, Beau, Blue) however i think he might cave on this one lol

i want to use his mother's name (Sylvia or Sylvie) in the middle name (she passed away before we met) and think he'll be made up with this but I need another middle name to seperate them and also cos my other 2 dc have 2 middle names

so I'm looking for Dottie Sylvie/Sylvia Heywood

any ideas???

thanks in advance

Dottie Marie Sylvia Heywood
Dottie Arabella Sylvie Heywood
Dottie Annabel Sylvia Heywood
Dottie Kathry Sylvia Heywood

Or swap and have Sylvia/Sylvie second and the new one as 3rd name?

Dottie Sylvia Jane
Dottie Sylvia Elizabeth etc

Personally I would pair it with something traditional / granny chic to match up with Sylvia. How about:

Dottie Alice Sylvie Heywood
Dottie Annabel Sylvia Heywood
Dottie Edith Sylvia Heywood
Dottie Louisa Sylvia Heywood

If instead you want to give her a longer name and have Dottie as a nickname, how about something like:

Dorothea Jane Sylvia Heywood
Dorothea Mary Sylvia Heywood
Dorothy Megan Sylvia Heywood

Dorothea means you can also use Thea as a nickname if you also like that. If the initials spell DASH that gives a further nickname, or something to avoid, depending on whether you like that or not. I think DISH and DOSH are too much though!

Less traditionally, how about:

Dottie Jocelyn Sylvia Heywood
Dottie Velvet Sylvie Heywood

Are there any other family names you might like to use?

Dorothy with Dottie for short would be nice. Sylvia is very pretty; Sylvie too faddy IMHO.

Dorothy Violet Sylvia Heywood
Dorothy Anna Sylvia Heywood
Dorothy Harriet Sylvia Heywood
Dorothy Miranda Sylvia Heywood
Dorothy Elizabeth Sylvia Heywood
