Ezra?

Just heard this morning,new baby called Ezra. Heard of any others? I rather like it.

The only Ezra I've ever heard of is in the kids animated film 'Emporers New Groove'!!

Fab film - dont like the name though!!

I love it, good strong Biblical name (Old Testament) and is our middle name of choice for DC2 due next month :)

I love it. If I have another baby and it's a boy (we have 2 DDs) Ezra would be a serious contender. Also love Gabriel, Reuben and Samuel.

I have an American friend called Ezra. On saying his name, lots of people think he's called 'Israel' so he frequently had to repeat it. Also, there's an assumption that he's Jewish.

oooh i was just warming to the name ezra and thought id broach it with the bf.... but i didnt realise it was a boys name!!! i picked it out for a girl
