Thoughts please? I have 5 weeks left and have no clue what to call her. Tia

Like it.. Was on my list but hubby wasnt keen..

Good luck deciding...we have 7 days left and still no name agreed on....

tethersend · 08/07/2012 09:57

Love it.

kickingKcurlyC · 08/07/2012 09:58

I really like Bonnie.

sashh · 08/07/2012 10:33

I like it, but what if she isn't?

VolAuVent · 08/07/2012 10:46

Not especially keen, sorry. I've only heard of two Bonnies. Bonnie Langford, and someone's dog.

AnnaNimitty · 08/07/2012 10:56

Its nice name but unfortunately also the name of ex's dog!

AgathaTrunchbull · 08/07/2012 10:59

Definitely a dog's name, akin to Lassie. Sorry.

Although... Bonnie and Clyde, I suppose.

Sossiges · 08/07/2012 11:01

I had friend at school called Bonita, Bonnie for short. I like it.

annoyedaboutcake · 08/07/2012 12:12

It is used around here as a polite word for 'fat' :(

peeriebear · 08/07/2012 12:30

I love it but my dad's side of the family are Scottish and I think they'd raise their eyebrows.

mrstowers · 08/07/2012 12:31

Wasn't that the name of Scarlett and Rhett's daughter in Gone With the Wind?

savoycabbage · 08/07/2012 12:38

Yes I think it was. My dd's head of year is called Bonnie. She is a fantastic teacher and very confident and a bit on the zany side.

mumbaisapphire · 08/07/2012 13:32

There was a Blue Peter dog called Bonnie and also of course Ms. Langford but that really is only something that people of a certain generation will associate it with. Her peers wouldn't.

MoonHare · 08/07/2012 13:43

Not keen sorry. To me it's very much a dog's name. Plus, I agree with sashh - what if she isn't? A bit like Grace. Could be risky, though I'm sure you and DP are gorgeous and handsome and will only produce beautiful and bonny children!

Clarabumps · 08/07/2012 20:33

that was my concern...what if she's just an average wee girl. or the teenage years..the spotty, plump years. Would Bonnie be a curse if she wasn't?
It was the name of Scarlett and Rhetts daughter in GWTW.. Bonnie Blue Butler. When I was a wee girl I looked very like the actress who played Bonnie in the film and the other day I watched it and thought maybe??
Moonhare-of course my children are the most beautiful children in the world. I have two boys already(this is my long awaited girl) and I just keep looking at my youngest ds and thinking "If he was a girl what would he look like.."
GGGAAAAAHHHHHHHHH_THIS IS SO HARD
sorry for shouting!

Jackie432 · 13/07/2012 08:02

I'm not really keen as my gran use to have a dog called Bonnie! But it is quite a cute name!

milkymocha · 13/07/2012 08:08

How about Connie? Xx

Subarashii · 13/07/2012 08:11

I love Bonnie. Connie? Callie?
