Met a baby Othello today. Thoughts?

Is he going to grow up to murder his wife?

...and then top himself presumably.

I don't mind it, actually.

Quite nice, and unusual.

Its not surprising that its unusual, given its links to a suicidal murderer.

Quite a heritage to live up to there.

Although I'm assuming he is named after the character rather than the board game.

Perhaps he wont be named after anyone/thing but his parents just like the sound of the name.

Hmmm, I read the thread title and thought 'are you serious?'

But on second thoughts I think it's really cool. Not sure I'd do it but it's certainly different.

Not sure I'd want to name my child after a character who abuses and murders women... but alright.
