Would just like some thoughts on the name Isla.
Surname would be Ingleson and thinking maybe grace as a middle name.

It's a lovely name. Was incredibly popular about 5 years ago, though that wouldn't be an issue for me.

It is lovely, and Isla Grace Ingleson sounds perfect. Added bonus of have cool initials of II.
Isla is popular ish, but that wouldn't hold me back!

phantomnamechanger · 13/06/2012 21:42

initials of II = "aye aye captain", if you're bothered about silly nicknames etc when a bit older

but Isla is lovely!

I like Isla. You can do a lot worse than 'aye aye Captain'. Plus her full initials could be IGI which would be a cool NN.

SugarBatty · 14/06/2012 13:20

Lovely, though have you thought if rose as a middle name?

clinkclink · 14/06/2012 15:19

I think it is beautiful. There are two Islas in my dd's R class, and I know a couple of others too, so it is pretty popular if that makes a difference to you.

Lannie33 · 14/06/2012 15:42

Isla is a beautiful name. I wouldn't let aye aye thing bother me in the least.

UnSocialite · 14/06/2012 15:48

Isla Grace is lovely, I would avoid Isla Rose as that seems to be the most common middle name with Isla, a bit like Lily May etc.
