I really like it. It's a name that will be good at any age iykwim.
I would just go for Jamie on the birth certificate.

StepOutOfSpring · 13/06/2012 17:23

I'd go for James on BC, Jamie as nickname.

squoosh · 13/06/2012 17:28

I prefer James

jaffacakehips · 13/06/2012 18:05

Love, on our list for a poss DS! We would just have Jamie as friend have a James.

But James is lovely too!

amck5700 · 13/06/2012 18:33

I like the name Jamie for a little boy, but i think it is a boys name and not a man's - i'd have James on the Birth Certificate

BringBack1996 · 13/06/2012 18:45

Our Jamie is 4 days old and it's shaping up to be a suitable name :o. He'll have James on the birth certificate when we register him

TidyDancer · 13/06/2012 20:03

I'm really not keen on Jamie (sorry), but love James.

usualsuspect · 13/06/2012 20:04

I like Jamie

MidWeekSlump · 13/06/2012 20:06

I prefer James to Jamie.
It's difficult to imagine a Jamie being in his 60's.

SleepyFergus · 13/06/2012 20:18

I'm married to a Jamie, and love it. He's Jamie on BC too. Defo not just a name for boys!

Badgerina · 13/06/2012 20:30

Don't like Jamie at all.

It has to be James or Jim.

MrsAmaretto · 13/06/2012 21:21

I know a few Jamie's in their 30s, their full names are Jamie. They range from a joiner to a solicitor. I live in Scotland if that makes a difference.

minesapintofwine · 13/06/2012 21:24

I have a Jamie hes a 19 week old little cutie. Hes Jamie on the bc too I like to call a spade a spade (he is not a spade)

misslinnet · 13/06/2012 22:55

I would put James on the birth certificate and then use Jamie as the nickname.
