Which sounds nicer for a first name
Or even for a second name?

Emilio without a doubt! Love it - classic, masculine and not overused!

I like Emilio better. Lovely name.

pinkhebe · 13/06/2012 13:35

Emilio, makes me swoon Grin

squoosh · 13/06/2012 13:39

Emilio if you have the heritage to carry it off. A red headed Emilio Murphy would be strange.

I don't know why some foreign names need the validation of a family connection but they just do.

YoyoMama · 13/06/2012 13:46

we definitely have the heritage for Emilio

I wanted this name for DS2 but Hubby Vetoed it :( so i was thinking of using it as a middle name - i suppose some people use their middle names instead of their first anyway, right?

I know a blond haired Emilio - suits him beautifully!

Another vote for Emilio - cool and elegant. Great name.

YoyoMama · 14/06/2012 20:48

Looks like it's Emilio then :)

Emilio is lovely. I'm less keen on Leo.

bigbluebump · 14/06/2012 21:41

I prefer Emilio. I went to Uni with a lovely half Spanish one.

CointreauVersial · 14/06/2012 21:44

Leo - that would have been DD2's name if she had been DS2.

twonker · 15/06/2012 23:36

what about Leon?

or Emil?

while i like Leo and Emilio, i prefer those versions.

Staceisace · 16/06/2012 03:42

Emilio is nice - I have a friend who's Italian and pregnant with a girl (Emilia, actually!) who was going to use it if she'd been having a boy.
