Help!
Baby (boy) due in 4 weeks and we don't have even a short list!

Our Surname begins with A and the names I have been considering are Isaac & Zach.

Too many a's do you think??

No, I don't see it as a problem as both names you mention have a strog 'zak' sound that their ends, which breaks up and 'a' sounds.

Personally, I like Isaac - 'the laughing one'. Just gorgeous!

Lunarlyte · 08/06/2012 12:38

Strong, not strog!

Lunarlyte · 08/06/2012 12:39

Oh, 'any' not 'and'

We have a Zachary, also considered Isaac, will be ds2 middle name.

I don't think it's an issue. Zachary Alexander sounds fine (ds) so why not surname with a?

Hth

I don't think it will be a problem. We have to many e's going on in our DC's names, I didn't realise until we named DD3 and started saying their names all together, it makes us get them all mixed up as well!!

Thanks everyone, I had almost talked myself out of it so that has helped!

Zachary Alexander is lovely, do you shorten it to Zach?

My surname is Arthur and somehow I can't get Isaac or Zach to sound 'right'. I may be over thinking things of course!
I already have a DS so feel I've used my favourite boys name already.

Sometimes, usually when annoyed lol.
I much prefer Zachary.

I also like Ruben, Jonah and Dominic if it helps.

MrsAmaretto · 08/06/2012 13:41

I think both names sound lovely with your surname Smile

MissElizaBennet · 08/06/2012 13:42

I think the names sound fine together :)

Ah, Zachary Arthur sounds better to my ears. Something about the amount of syllables in the 3:2 ratio sounds better than Isaac Arthur's 2:2.

Hope that makes sense!

Perfect sense, thanks everyone again.
