Frank?

My friend is considering this name and I was wondering what your thoughts were on it? Do you like it or do you think it's a bit dated? It makes me think of Victorians...

It's horrid.Far too ugly and harsh to be inflicted upon a lovely newborn. Frances would be ok,but Frank is ghastly.

Lovely- Francis is nice, Frankie is cute. Frank is perfectly fine, but a bit more grown-up, like John instead of Johnny or Jack.

I love the name Franklin, but am not crazy about plain Frank. Although Frank is a cute name for an old man...

I like it but it has to be Francis though, and probably Frankie while he is little. Then when he is about 30 he can be plain old Frank!

Frank is a Sloo family name (not short for Frances). It's a great name!
