Mack, Louis or Guy?

help me choose.... I love them all.

Love Mack and Guy!

Mack! But then i'm biased as i have one

Louis. Mack sounds like a nickname to me and you'll forever have people asking what it is short for. Guy I just don't like.

Louis is my favourite name for a boy ever.

I prefer Guy - simple, classic and masculine.

Mack sounds very harsh (and wouldn't work in many other languages) and Louis has the pronunciation problem (French Lou-ee vs English/German Lou-is).

Louis! Both pronunciations (FR and ENG) are nice IMO. I am biased since it is DS's 3rd name, and Louise will probably be DC2 middle name if it turns out it is a girl.
I do not like Mack and Guy would be weird in the US (I do like its ENglish pronunciation though - not the French one)

Mack - sounds like a burger
Louis - OK
Guy - sounds like a bloke

How about Max, Luke, Lucas, Gregory?

I have one of these,the shortest .It does suit him and he is the only one at school although ds2 who is older has two at school with him .I also liked Ned and Hugo but dh is very fussy about names .

I am afraid I don't like Mack ,Louis is nice as long as it's not pronounced Lewis

I do really like Mack, it wouldn't be short for anything. I don't really like names that can be shortened if I'm honest.

I think if we went for Louis it would be pronnounced looowee.

Guy is very manly but fairly uncommon which I think is why I also like it.

I also really like Jude for a boy. DH HATES it though!

My girls shortlist is:

Milla, Renee, Nell and Erin

My ds is Guy and I love it but when he was young there was a tendency for his classmates to change the u to an a both on his books and when saying it.It was a short phase but distressing while it lasted.Now he is an adult,and since he was about 14, he likes the name very much.
