What other nicknames are there apart from Tammy? General opinions also appreciated.

Tams / Tamz.

My cousin is known as Taz

I only think of Tamsin. Tasmin is very similar if you like that as an alternative. Also tamara, tansy and Tessie

I went to school with a Tamsin and we called her Tam/Tammy

We were going to call this DC Tamsin until DH changed his mind, I think it's lovely. As it's only two syllables I don't see any need to shorten but nothing wrong with Tammy IMO.

Why shorten it at all? It's lovely!

Tamsin is a lovely name. No need to shorten it.
Tammy is not a nice name.

I know another Tamzin who goes by Tammy.
