Hi ladies

We can't seem to agree on a boys name for our little yellow bundle due in October. I would be grateful if you could give me your opinions on our current list. Here goes

Roman
Evan
Zander
Miles
Gene

We already have one little boy named Lucas.

Gene could be mistaken for Jean, so could cause some gender confusion.

Out of the other ones, I like Evan best, but they're all okay.

Exactly my thoughts on Gene but it is OH favourite at the moment. Boys names are so hard this time round.

Gene is my least favourite, it sounds a bit wet to me.

How about Guy? Definitely no room for gender confusion there

Roman is gorgeous.Evan and Miles are lovely too.

Zander is ok,but I prefer the Xander spelling.Zander is a type of fish.

Gene is awful.An ugly name.

Isn't Gene short for Eugene? I quite like Eugene. Love Miles. Xander is short for Alexander. I really don't care for the current trend of giving nicknames as proper names - after all, you can still use the short form while at least giving the child a formal option for later if he wants to use it.
