What do you think? Do you know any? I really like it, but will people mix it up with Judas?

Yes I do, I think it would be a lifetime of torment-Jude is lovely though if you ask me.

I like it, a good Old Testament name (if you knew me in real life you'd know I really like OT names!)

I have met one little boy called Judah, he was about 4 years old.

What about Jonah? Or Jude?

The one thing that put me off using the name Judah might be a bit silly, but I was afraid it would be teased and changed to Judy! Maybe unlikely, but it was in my mind and meant I didn't use it.

I do like Jonah but would HATE it to be shortened to Joe, which I feel it would! I really like Jude but thought that Judah would be more unusual!

Dottie you think similar to me! I have the name Joel as the top of my list for DC2 (am 27 weeks pregnant) but am having a bit of a waver and fear that it'll be misheard all the time as Joe which I also don't like!

Is so hard to choose!

If you like Judah then go for it, I do think it is a lovely name too. If it goes with your surname and if your DP likes it then go for it :)

Needles Joel is a lovely name! Smile

I only know one Judah in his 40s and he's not a nice man at all. However, the name is different and I have never met another. If you like it then go for it.

I know a little Judah 3 years old. As far as I'm aware no-one has raised an eyebrow. I don't think anyone would confuse it with Judas.

It's OK but I like Joe as a nn so prefer Jonah, Joseph or Jonas.

Ben Hur!

Judah is a fab name!

Didn't even realise it was a name. It's awful. But I've heard worse.
