Twins - need more names!

I posted on here a few weeks ago about Greek/English baby names. We have decided to go for more English sounding names. We only needed one name before, but have found out we are having non identical twins (don't know genders) so now need three combinations of names...So far we like/agree on...

Boy Boy - Matthew & James
Boy Girl - James & Megan (OH loves this name and really wants it)
Girl Girl - Megan & Georgia

Not having middle names.

What do you think? Can you think of similar alternatives?

Thanks :)

They're all ok. All a bit 'safe' for me but that's a personal choice.

Girls names I like..
Alice
Meredith
Harriet
Kate (though gone off this since Royal Wedding!)
Emily
Louisa
Rachel
Lydia
Rowan

Am rubbish at boys names which are English.

What about Matthew and Megan or Georgia and James.I think they sound good together. I also like Nathan and Theo. Megan and Max.

Lexiesgirl · 24/05/2012 21:40

Those are all lovely! I honestly don't think you need any more. I think its better to not 'match' the names, as you've already done, so Matthew/Georgia and James/Megan are better. I have matchey-matchey names with my DB and I hate it.

I like Grin my eldest two boys are Matthew and James

Matthew, James and Megan are nice,

Georgia isnt in the same league, to me.

Other girls names:

Emily
Kitty
Anna
Polly
Felicity
Alice
Emma

Congrats on twins!! Smile

I love all your names esp. James and Georgia (both on our shorlist!)

Littleviolet · 25/05/2012 12:20

All lovely names and combinations!!

Trestle · 25/05/2012 19:04

All good combinations :) Only one I'm not so keen on is Matthew. I'd replace it with Luke, Oliver, Zachary, Daniel or another traditional name.

MoonHare · 25/05/2012 19:50

Agree with MacaroniPie, Georgia isn't as nice as the others you've chosen.

Other ideas; Phoebe, Libby, Rebecca, Rachel, Bethan.

Thanks for the input everyone. I am still deciding on Megan/Georgia, Georgina or Emily if 2 DD's. Glad the boys names went down well. I like them.

Georgina is pretty and you don't hear it so much at the moment :)
