I would say Reh-me and I am British, does that help?

Stellan · 21/05/2012 20:03

I'd say Reh-me too.

Sort of ruined for me by people using 'rem' as a derogatory, unsavoury slang meaning 'remedial'.

LoganMummy · 21/05/2012 22:02

I'd say reh-my as well.

Our hamster was called Remy after we watched the film Ratatouille!

5madthings · 21/05/2012 22:06

Reh-me :) and it was a name on our list, love it :)

BustersOfDoom · 21/05/2012 22:06

Reh-my - tis my French friend's surname.

SodoffBaldrick · 21/05/2012 22:07

Reh-mee here, too.

Makes me think of bottom shelf cognac, though...

misslinnet · 21/05/2012 22:08

Reh-me.

Never heard of it being used as slang for remedial. Makes me think of Gambit from the X-Men comics.

BustersOfDoom · 21/05/2012 22:15

Reh-me that should say not Reh-my. But no, I've never heard of it given as a first name. It's a French surname or a cognac for me.

GlaikitFizzog · 21/05/2012 22:17

It's Thirteens real name in House! I would say reh-me too! :o

Trestle · 21/05/2012 22:18

I would have said Ree-mee before reading this thread.

Lannie33 · 23/05/2012 15:32

Reh-me. Love it. Was on the shortlist for our second, who ended up being a girl. I think of it as a boy's name but in France i think it's a girl's name?

picnicbasketcase · 23/05/2012 15:34

Reh-me. But I would assume he was conceived whilst his parents were pissed.

bruffin · 23/05/2012 15:34

I know an Italian Remy and he pronounces it rem mee

sparkle12mar08 · 24/05/2012 07:37

Rem-ee here, and I know a little 3yo girl. Lovely name.
