They're my our favourites at the moment, but are they a bit too old-fashioned - like beyond cool?

Discuss.

My dad was Arthur and it is DS middle name. My aunt is Iris.

I think they're both great.

Love them both. They are both very rapidly gaining in popularity so no worries about them being beyond cool - they are tres cool! Lovely too IMO.

Eh? no they are fabulous names, Arthur's on my list and Iris would be but its mil's name

Seth and Annie are much much nicer than both. The 'old man old lady' thing is getting me down!

Arthur fine and back in fashion. Maybe you could start a trend with Iris.

Have met two baby Irises recently so I would say not mean but gaining in popularity. I think it is lovely, was on my list for DD and DS (whom it obviously would not have suited!)

Arthur I quite like, though probably would not use, but would say it is fine and also probably more popular now than it was, in the 'old man/lady' chic vein
