Hi ladies finally decided on a girls name.. just wondering what everyone thinks...

Lydia Renee Greenhalgh

Renee is pronounced as though its short for Irene not the posh french sounding version haha!

Like Reenee?
I think Lydia is a gorgeous lovely timeless classless name. Sadly DH didn't agree hence our DD having the commonest name in the UK.
FWIW, DD only learned to write her middle names a couple of years ago, whether they go togther is immaterial IMO.

haha yeh thats the one! because the surname is Greenhalgh (wish baby could have my surname!)i wanted to try spruce it up a bit and Renee is my nannas name and i thought Lydia sounded like you say a classic name.

I guess the whole middle name thing is a bit pointless i just really wanted my nannas name involved somewhere along the line as she sadly passed away last yead and we were very close.

Thank you rips :)

You know the baby CAN have your surname don't you? There's no rule that they have to have their dad's. They can have yours, or both, or something totally made up likes Jones or Starmoonfruit. :)

Renee is nice but I think people will always pronounce it RennAY - perhaps a different spelling? Reeny? It's a lovely name!

hahaha maybe banana-hammock? haha! I know but i feel like if i am going to one day take my partners name - which i do want to, it would be odd for the baby to have a different surname to us both (thats just me i am sure its quite normal! haha!)

Well i think my nanna spelt it Rene with one E so i need to double check (how terrible i don't know how she spelt her name! i always just spelt it Nanna though! haha!)

Thanks Elephants!
