Personally, I'm not keen on Aiden/Aidan (it reminds me of the Jayden, Kaiden type names I don't like). Alexander is nice though, and I agree that it goes well with Samuel.

As a name I prefer Aidan but I think Alexander sounds better with Samuel - Sam and Alex, lovely!

Bear in mind that Alexander will get shortened to Alex before long, which is v.popular. however, it can also be shortened to Zander which I love or Sandy which is cute. I love all three of your names, but personally I'd switch it and have Robert Alexander Smile
