Brother for Hannah?

JimbosJetSet · 11/05/2012 08:10

I am expecting a little boy in a couple of weeks and we are still stuck for a name. His sister is Hannah, so I'm looking for something that goes with that - possibly a bit more unusual but not too 'out there.'

Our two favourites are Leo and Joe, but our surname is quite long and ends with an 'oh,' so I'm not sure if the first names would 'rhyme' too much.

Thanks!

My daughter I'd Hannah! Her brothers are Daniel, Samuel and Micah. As you can see, we are into Hebrew names.

I have one, and if she'd had a brother he would have been William (Will) or Oliver.

I also like Marcus, Sebastian, Toby, Benedict and Luke.

If I ever get around to having a girl, I expect I'll choose the name Hannah. My son is called Rory :)

If surname is long enough the same sound at the end might not sound too ad - can't tell unless you can give an indication of the name. I'm guessing you don't like joey, Joseph, Leon etc.
We had Hannah and joe on our list. For boys we liked
Sam
Lucas
Alex
Charlie
Ethan
Jake
Jack
Josh
Zac

I have a Hannah and Joe so personally think they go well! Expecting ds3 in a few weeks and am struggling to like a name to go with them!

Very interested to note that two of WMDinthekitchen's suggestions are the names of DS1 and DS2..... and DD is Hannah Grin
It is amazing how often the same names are used in families, even ones which don't have an obvious connection of culture or nationality or other link.
Amy will often have a sister Sophie, for instance.

blueemerald · 12/05/2012 22:43

I'm Hannah! :) My brothers are Guy and Toby.
