Misson impossible: naming a 3rd child

We need names for our 3rd child. It should be easy to pronounce and to spell in English, French and German, go with a French last name, not contain an R. Most of classic names are already "taken" (such as Christine/Christian, Marie, Elisabeth, Anne, Michael, Oliver, Alexander etc.), as we have a large family. So far, I am really short of ideas. So here is my present list (any suggestions are very welcome):
Boys:
Nicolas (would a French spelling seem strange in England)
Max (is it too popular?)
Leo or Leon (is it too popular?)
Girls:
Alice
Sophie (is it too popular?)
Nathalie

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Amelie? Thomas?

From Your list my favourites are Max and Nathalie, my nephew and my Sister's names :-)
I am half Swiss and DH is half Irish and we wanted names that would be 'European' crossovers. We have Joseph and Dominic and if DC3 is a Boy (6 days overdue already) will be Fabian (we were going to go for French spelling Fabien but thought it may cause confusion so going for the latin). For a Girl we are going for Eleanor.
Good luck with Your decision making - it is hard for number 3 for sure.

what are your other children called?
I like all your names.
Leo/ Leon not popular where I am.
Sophie is popular though.
