Need just one middle name - which should it be?

We've already decided on our daughter-to-be's first middle name and reckon that three would be overkill (!) - so, which of these two do you prefer for the second:

Cecilia
Petra

Thanks in advance!

Need to know th3e first name, really, but I much prefer Celia.

BeaditAli · 17/04/2012 09:09

I like both but they both have a very different number of syllables so it depends what your other names are................

I prefer Cecilia. Petra conjures up images of dogs, petrol and rocks.

I like both!

But be careful using up all the names you like. I'm 35 weeks with dd2 and we're struggling for names as we used all our favourites with dd1.

Don't want to share the first name here, but it begins with a (hard) C and is two syllables. The first middle name is Leonora.

Thanks again!

Cecilia

Ok.... Just suppose it's 'Clara' then I'd say Cecilia is the loveliest Grin

If I were you I would use the name which you are LEAST likely to want for a first name for any DD to be! - as other posters have warned!

So - probably the one which is not your best favourite - Wink

Ah... very wise, doctorwt! DH may get his way, then... ;)
