Opinions on Evan?

We both really like this, also, its the only one we can agree on!
I also like other names such as Isaac or Finlay, but dh not keen. As soon as he finds a name he likes, he settles on that and there's no budging him!

Middle name will be Michael.

I like Evan. I know it Welsh but it always reminds me of a cool, good looking American. They're always called Evan.

It's fine, and Evan Michael sounds good - the names work well together.

I love Evan. My best mates little boy is called Evan and he ia adorable and mischievous.

I love it, and think it is getting very popular thanks to Evan Davies (R4 and Dragon's Den). There are loads of little ones around now; I know two in a preschool of less than 50 children.

I was thinking mid 90's Evan Dando.

I love Evan and would have used it if only DH wasn't called Kevin.

A relative of mine recently called her little boy Evan. Lovely name!

oh thankyou, all positives. I dont know of any Evans and its at number 50 something, so not too popular I dont think.

I dont normally like surnames as christian names, but just like this one, and y miracle, dh does too.

I also like Ellis, toobreathless, and have mentioned it to dh, but he poo-pooed it!

DS1s name (he's 11). It's still my favourite name, and the only one DH and I could agree on at the time.

squoosh - yy. We thought of Evan Dando. Evan Davies was just starting to be famous at the time. He's cool.
