Lola always sounds a bit porn-star for me. Holly and Ava are both very pretty. Ava is v v popular at the moment so if you want more chance of her having a unique name in her class at school, I would go with Holly.

DottieRose · 13/04/2012 15:11

Holly is the nicest out of the three.

sum04 · 13/04/2012 15:17

Do you think Holly goes with our other dd's names, Summer and Lily?

Yes - all nature-themed names.

Pinkzoo · 13/04/2012 15:22

Holly i think is by far the best.

keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 13/04/2012 15:33

Yes, I think Holly is the best to go with your other DD's. And thats a genuine honest opinion as Ava is my fave girls name in the whole world! x

JustHecate · 13/04/2012 15:34

I like Ava. very pretty

breadandhoney · 13/04/2012 15:56

I like Ava. A very pretty name and, although it is supposed to be popular, I don't know any.

BBQJuly · 13/04/2012 17:06

I like Holly best. Ava is OK but Eve/Eva/Evie/Ava all very popular. Lola sounds a bit downmarket to me.

Stellan · 13/04/2012 17:36

My cousin has a very sweet DD named Ava so I have positive associations with the name. I think it's quite popular though.

Holly works the best with your other children's names - and it's lovely too. I don't really like Lola.

anniewoo · 13/04/2012 17:37

I love Holly/ Hollie

Meglet · 13/04/2012 17:38

Holly.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 13/04/2012 17:44

I think Lola is too similar to Lily, I like Ava best and think it rolls nicely with the other two.

QuickLookBusy · 13/04/2012 17:44

I love Ava.

I think Summer, Lilly and Holly doesn't trip off the tongue as well as Summer, Lilly and Ava.

fussbucket · 13/04/2012 17:46

Holly works best with the two elder dds names. Ava is okay. Lola to me is (a) a dog's name (b) a transvestite in a Kinks song (c) a 19th century tart (Lola Montez). Also sounds particularly wrong when you've already got a Lily.

mum47 · 13/04/2012 17:47

Ava is lovely. We used to have a dog next door to us called Lola - I loved the name and always thought if I had a DD I would call her Lola. When pg, suggested it but DH pointed out it was porn-starish and I think I now agree with him. We had boys anyway!
