Leonard?

I have two boys, an Edward (Ted to all) and Patrick.

I absolutely love Leonard for a DS3, due to it being a family name and also because of Big Bang Theory but my DH is not that keen.

What does anyone else think? Can you suggest names of a similar type?

I quite like Leonard.

As alternatives how about Leo, Leon, Leopold, Luke, Lawrence, Clifford?

I love Lenny so Leonard is fab. As is Leonard Cohen

I like it - it's DS's middle name - but is it too close to Edward? Both ending in -ud. Dunno.

Hmm... I much prefer Leo or Leon.

how about Lawrence, Duncan, Justin, Douglas, Jacob, Albert, Thomas, Robert?

One of my DS's has it as a middle name but we very nearly called him Lenny. I like it.

I love Leonard - Lenny is a great nn too. Dh loves this name too, but I would be put off using it because there is potential for Leo/Leon nn, and I don't like either of those.
Leonard Cohen is a fab namesake.
