Just wanted to thank you all for your help naming my son. We had been considering Aidan, Ashton or maybe Ryan. The Mumsnet concensus was avoid Ashton, but go for either Aidan or Ryan. Some of your comments made me re-consider Ryan and that is what we have now named our son (born just over a week ago). I now love, love, love the name, I really feel that it has been the right decision for us and one I wouldn't have made without Mumsnet! Thanks all!
Now the dilemma is middle names... which I'll put in a separate post.
