This is our shortlist (at the moment) :-). Which name do you like best?

Both are lovely! I quite like Elliot for a girl or a boy.

nickschick · 30/03/2012 12:35

I have a Sam hes v naughty Grin, was a very cute baby, toddler and teen - hit 15 and turned into a nightmare.

Both are lovely. I prefer Sam, but only if he is a Samuel nn Sam.

DoubleGlazing · 30/03/2012 13:34

Both nice, but I prefer Elliot. I'd use Samuel (or Samson?) as full name for Sam.

Longdistance · 30/03/2012 13:36

Keep them both, as when baby is born you'll look at him, and say he's a Sam, or an Elliot x

welovesausagedogs · 30/03/2012 14:56

I like both, when he is born you will know which suits him best

exoticfruits · 30/03/2012 14:58

Samuel with nickname Sam.

IAmYourSingingTelegram · 30/03/2012 15:46

Definitely Sam. I really dislike Elliot.

Springforward · 30/03/2012 15:50

Sam (preferably Samuel so he can choose to use a formal name sometimes if he wants to when he's grown up).

tunaday · 30/03/2012 19:21

Really like Sam.

Petrean · 30/03/2012 19:28

I like Sam but as a nn for Samuel. I don't like Elliot, when I hear it in my head ET's (child of the 80s) voice is saying it.

EllenParsons · 31/03/2012 15:11

I love Samuel, nicknamed Sam, but not keen on Sam as a full name. Elliot is also really nice. If the full name would Samuel then that's my preference, if just Sam I would prefer Elliot.
