DC2 due in 1 month - suspect its going to be a girl and anyway have a few boys names left over from last time.

Finding it quite hard to agree on anything and come up with something not too popular but not too out there. DD1 is Saskia.

I like Tamsin (but not too keen on Tammy), Lara (but maybe bit popular?), and Sabrina - too close to saskia?

DH likes Sorcha (pronounced the "wrong" way I've discovered from mumsnet - Sorsha), Tess and Xavia (Xavier is high on boy's list).

Don't want anything very popular (outside top 100) and not really into anyone who died tragically or wasn't very nice character - so no Ophelia's, Delilah's, Cordelia's. I like classic names but not huge fan of old lady chic.

Any suggestions?

I like Sabrina when I think of Audrey Hepburn in the role. I think 1950's, euro, elegant.

And then that tarty Italian who had that song 'Boys Boys Boys' pops into my brain and all I see are her massive bazookas bouncing around in their tacky 80's glory. I still quite like it though. Maybe you could have a Sabrina and reclaim the name.

I also like Tamsin and Lara. Slight preference for Tamsin. I picture a kind of pretty, hippy, barefoot country girl.

I like Tamsin and Lara. The Tamsin I knew was never Tammy. Can I also suggest:

Corinna
Meryl
Meredith
Rhiannon

Thanks Blue Champagne - I like Corinna too but dh not keen. I suggested Karina too which he thinks sounds harsh.

Meredith and Rhiannon sounds very Welsh to me and not keen on Meryl.
