What do you associate with this name? I'm reconsidering it as a middle name option.

I do think of any association.
But I think it's really great if you like slightly wacky names.

Nice name. Its not 'wacky', it's Arabic.

I like it! First thoughts on hearing it are Zane Lowe and Zayn from one direction, both of which are spelled differently anyway and let's face it, no ones going to know who either of them are by the time your potential Zain is at school!

Zain is a brilliant name. I knew a little boy whose parents were both from Pakistan called Zain and he was a ray of sunshine. Lovely !

I love the name Zain, I would spell it Zane though, but that's just my preferance

The little Zain I know is Asian,and pronounces his name "Zen".

I like it, but the only person I know called Zain spells it Zane. I would spell it that way too.
