I like it. Not overused.

rachel234 · 19/03/2012 19:28

Awful, sorry. But then I have German relations and it is a very very old fashioned, almost comical name over there these days.

RunningLatte · 19/03/2012 19:33

I think Heidi is lovely.

I wasn't so keen on Unknown Grin

Marmite2012 · 19/03/2012 19:40

I like it as long as your last name is not Hole!

FilterCoffee · 19/03/2012 21:16

Not keen, sorry. Agree with rachel234

OlympicEater · 19/03/2012 23:04

DDs friend is called Heidi, its very pretty but she gets called all kinds of silly puns like Heidi sausage which gets on her nerves

imissbrie · 20/03/2012 00:48

Thanks for the comments its not a popular name in Scotland so its a little unusual but also familiar. we wanted an unusual name without it being something like moondust or something pretentious.

I'm in Scotland and I think it's lovely.

LottieJenkins · 20/03/2012 02:07

Its what Kerry Katonas daughter is called!!!!!!!!!!

ThePoorMansBeckySharp · 20/03/2012 02:07

I have a friend called Heidi. She LOATHES it. All the hi-dee-hi! gets annoying.

shoobidoo · 20/03/2012 10:20

I don't like it at all, sorry.

There are lots and lots of far nicer underused classic names - have a look outside the top100 or even top250 names.

Montsti · 20/03/2012 11:23

I love the name Heidi - go for it! I know quite a few in their 30's but no little ones...

curiositykitten · 20/03/2012 21:43

Screams Kerry Katona to me, I'm afraid.

Ali2girls · 20/03/2012 21:48

I like it and think you should probably just go with what you like - you can't please everyone!

Popoozle · 20/03/2012 22:03

imissbrie - if you say it fast enough it sounds like Hide The Sausage.

I quite like it though - I didn't even think of Kerry Katona & she'll be long forgotten by the time your LO starts school anyway Grin.
