Looking for fresh sounding, quirky, unusual, possibly naturey names please - for a boy - don't mind if unisex!

For example... River, Rowan, Lief, Harper, Frey...

But can't start with C, D, K, L, R!

Thank you so much x

I really like Hawthorn (I don't think it is a real name though). We were tempted if this one was going to be a boy, but it isn't.

EmmaAndTheo · 11/03/2012 21:55

How about Thorin? I think it means thunder... x

therewasalittlegirl · 11/03/2012 21:59

Ooh both ones I have never thought of before! Interesting, thank you! Is Thorin pronounced Thor -in or Thorrin?

I'd say it as Thorrin... BUt I could be wrong!

therewasalittlegirl · 11/03/2012 22:05

Thanks I shall google! I like Hawthorn too, but I'm not sure we're that brave!

Just been saying it both ways... Thor-in sounds like you're defrosting something (well, in Chesterfield it would do!) I'd have it as Thorrin no matter how the pronunciation guide says... ;)

therewasalittlegirl · 11/03/2012 22:11

Hmm yes I see what you mean! Thanks!

Talon, it's a Cornish name.

upatdawn · 11/03/2012 22:13

I like Tor and Cade, may not be your taste though!

diplodocus · 11/03/2012 22:17

KenDoddsDadsDog · 11/03/2012 22:23

therewasalittlegirl · 11/03/2012 22:27

Mallory
Magnus

I have a mate called Thorin, pronounced Thorrin (ie not 'oar' in the middle, a short 'o' sound instead). He's the only one I've ever met! He's in his thirties.

Other options:
Heath
Sawyer
Rohan
Woodrow
Forest
Carver
Alder
Larch
Birch
Rowan
Calder
