Jonah, Jude, Julian

Any of these names do anything for you? Rank them in least to most favorite?

Or most to least favorite or however you like - I claim pregnancy brain.

Jude is my favourite. Then Jonah. Not really a fan of Julian.

Jude, jonah, Julian in that order.

:o Love love love Julian (nn Jules) - it's been my favourite name for years. Not so keen on the other two, but I prefer Jude to Jonah.

Jonah, def i really love this, as did DP, although his fickle fickle brain forgot and now has completly veto'd it.

Jude is nice, but has been quite popular round here recently.

Julian - bluergh

Julian is the best of those for me. Jonah and Jude too many negative connotations, and Jude is very faddy atm.

Not keen on Julian (not sure why though as it's perfectly nice).

I like Julian best, as it's an underused and fairly classic name.

Then Jonah as it's a fine Biblical name but the "ah" ending makes names a bit "sighing" to me (same with Noah).

Jude sounds too feminine.

Jude - trying too hard to be cool. Sounds too much like dude.

I don't like Jude - sounds feminine (and means Jew in German).

Jonah means bringer of bad luck, so no from me too.

Julian, on the other hand, is lovely - cool and underused.

Yes, Julian is one of those names that doesn't date. Never "in", never "out".

Julian, then Jude, then Jonah - little bit new-agey for me! Evokes images of flowery moo-moos and calling the car the 'Starship'. I like Jude now, but I did think it was a girls name when I was younger - is it not a nn of Julian anyway? Always liked Julian!

I have a Jonah, and I love it. Also love the mass of whale related children's books I received after he was born!

So Jonah, then Jude (sounds like a nickname to me) and then Julian (too posh for me)

But all nice names really!
