Expecting DD 2 in 6 Weeks and have the following names on our shortlist.

What do you think of them?

Eleanor
Edith
Evelyn
Layla
Lyra
Lilith

we seem to really like names starting with e or l lol.

Surname is Burns and we like Mae or Rose as middle names but this may change depending on what goes best with first name.

All go well with your surname. I'm not a fan of Lilith - I find I have to concentrate on saying it as it doesn't roll off the tongue easily.
Lyra is very pretty - I also like Lyria

You can't lose with Eleanor or Edith. They are lovely, although they will probably date a bit, since old-lady names are trendy now. (What names don't date, though?)

Evelyn - I really don't like this - I think (for me) it's not quite old-sounding enough to be cool again.

Layla - timeless classic, but I would look into other spellings. (Leila?)

Lyra - doesn't appeal to me.

Lilith - not only does it not roll off the tongue but I would be bothered by the whole demon thing. I know she's been reclaimed by feminists and all, and there are differing viewpoints about Lilith, but it's a lot to saddle a baby with.
