All the way through we have said we will have primrose if the baby is a girl but we are now wavering and edging more towards Elsa, my only worry is that Elsa may become popular, which would you go for?

Primrose is terrible. I see a larger middle aged lady in an 80's style Laura Ashley frock, perspiration on her brow, baking 100 Victoria sandwiches for the village fete.

Elsa would be lithe and lovely, maybe a smidge aloof but you wouldn't mind because she's so very cool.

Thanks everyone, its really funny to hear how people visualise the person with one of these names Grin
I'm surprised that noone mentioned the darling buds of may as that seems to be the first reaction from friends and family.I'm still not sure, i think dh is heading more towards Elsa but i'm still a bit in the middle.

Elsa. Primrose is fine when you're 5 but abit Blush when you're 15.

I guess she could always just call herself Rosie.

Elsa is really lovely, and not too popular. Primrose is a bit twee and over the top IMO.

Just imagine yourself shouting the name across the playground, in front of the other mums. Do you feel ok? Then use it. Do you feel shame? Don't use it. :)
