"Tough" names for a boy

TrueRomance28 · 20/02/2012 21:17

So after spending so much time picking beautiful girls names, I find out today that all my instincts are unreliable and its a boy!
I seem to like American sounding names and the boyfriend and me both agree we want it to sound "tough"....... but we're completely stuck for ideas. We want something as different as possible without being silly if that makes sense! Can any of you help with suggestions???

You CAN'T call a boy "Raven", not if you want him to sound tough, he'll grow up to be an interior designer!

LauraTheOutlawPalmer · 21/02/2012 00:14

Titus.

Doesn't get tougher than that! But not very American. How about these...

Ace
Wyatt
Ryder
Flip
Colt

(all actual names of people I know in the US!)

colditz · 21/02/2012 00:20

You know that a colt is a baby pony, right? It's not exactly well 'ard, is it?

colditz · 21/02/2012 00:21

I know, I know!!!

"Elvis BigBollocks the Third"

midlandsnightnannybabysitter · 21/02/2012 00:22

Bruce

TrueRomance28 · 21/02/2012 00:23

I know a girl called Raven so that ones out anyway (despite how useful an interior designer may be to have in the family :o )

Ace has been top of my list for a while, currently trying to think on a possible middle name to go with that one (& lots of the others!!)
