....Claudia? Don't know what 2nd name though

Or Imogen Amelia?

Claudia is v pretty.
Imogen Amelia - two nice names but not sure they sound right together - too many 'm's perhaps?

BlairsBabe · 17/02/2012 22:43

I think Claudia is a fabulous name. Lots of people will tell you they won't use it because it means blind or something, but that's silly. It's a beautiful name and I would go with it. Imogen Amelia is lovely too but both names are overused IMO, whereas there's a gap in the market for more Claudias.

Beamur · 17/02/2012 22:46

I knew a girl called Claudia who pronounced it - Cloud-ier which I thought sounded wonderful.

HolyNoSheDittantBatman · 17/02/2012 22:49

It's on my list of irrational dislikes (with Lottie and Guy), I think it's awful.

Imogen is pretty and I like Amelia as well.

BillyBollyBandy · 17/02/2012 22:50

I have an Amelia and a Claudia. We have great taste Wink

UnnamedFemaleProtagonist · 17/02/2012 22:54

I like it. It meets my criteria of fairly unused and fairly posh.

bramblina · 17/02/2012 22:57

I love Claudia and would use it if dc3 is a girl. (not pg yet btwHmmBlush)
But, our surname begins with C so prob not good. Therefore, you should use it!!!!

I also love Imogen but it is rather popular now as is Amelia which I'm not so keen on simply because I have heard it too many times.
Do you really need a 2nd name? Caludia is good enough on it's own.

bramblina · 17/02/2012 22:58

Erm.....and so is Claudia pmsl!!!! Whoops!!!

Melysia · 17/02/2012 23:05

Don't get me started. It took ages for us to match up our kids names. Both unplanned managed a lovely name for our first then had to match it with 2nd. Claudia sounds as if it should be followed with a 2nd name beginning with A something that flows. Depends on how your planning to pronounce it really.

PopcornBiscuit · 17/02/2012 23:32

Imogen Amelia.

Not keen on Claudia.

SleepyFergus · 18/02/2012 08:37

Thanks all. I think I'm leaning towards Claudia, just need to work on DH. Might be immaterial anyway as we don't know if we're having a girl or boy.

Would like to have a 2nd name as DD has 2 so be food to keep it all even. Even if it's something like Jane or Alice. Short and snappy.
