Miles or Noah?

What do you think?

Depends on your surname. IMO, Miles is posh and Noah is very popular at the moment. I don't like either very much.
Heart says Miles though.

I love both these names and this was the dilemma we faced with DS1. Miles didn't seem to appeal to as many as Noah did, so we chose Noah based on that. He is 6 now!

Also, now I think back, DH slightly preferred Noah which also helped to swing it.

Miles! Noah is dreadful. Sounds like an old man howling in agony with gout.

I like Noah but I think in the 'wrong' accident it could be a bit whiny, as in 'NOOO-AAAAH WAY'. Does that make sense?

Miles. I know one and it seems to suit him. :)

Noah is chavvy and Miles is Sloane Ranger dullsville. It's an odd choice because the names are so very different.

Noah is not chavvy, but it is not unusual, as it once was.

DS (aged 6) is Noah (so yes, perhaps I am biased) He is still the only Noah at his school, but I have met two families recently with baby Noahs.

I like Miles too - but can't help thinking of This Life, which was probably my favourate TV programme 15 years ago.

for an odd choice of names we had both of them in our top 4 for DS - so can't be such an odd choice to ahve together! I love both of them! But I would go Miles as lots of Noah's about!
