Thoughts on the name Tobin for a boy?

That doesn't bother me, I live in holland so that association wouldn't be made. I also had not heard of him.

Yep immediately thought serial killer and it was also the name
of a nasty character in the lawyer series with Glenn Close!

'Tobin Tax' is what sprang to my mind immediately - hadn't heard of the serial killer connection!

I rather like it and Peter Tobin wasn't the first thing that sprang to mind. I think if you're not UK based it's a really strong, distinctive name. Tobias is also very European sounding and classic.
