Something that flows but isn't too long? No names beginning with vowels possible sadly...

Why do you need a third? It's obviously not something that means anything to you. Keep just the two you have, they are both pretty.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 29/01/2012 09:19

I agree with football, the ones you have chosen are lovely so there's no need to give her a third.

BelleEnd · 29/01/2012 09:20

Agree you don't need a third. But if you want one, how about Joy?

pinkhebe · 29/01/2012 09:21

How about Grace, I think you need a nice short one.

Housewifefromheaven · 29/01/2012 09:22

Rose

belgo · 29/01/2012 09:23

Any family name you can stick in there? If not, I don't see the point in adding another name.

Congratulations on your new little girl.

Llareggub · 29/01/2012 09:25

I think you need to find a really bonkers 3rd name that will make people gasp with horror amazement on her wedding day. After all, it won't get used at any other time. Trust me, I speak with experience.

OliviaMumsnet · 29/01/2012 09:25

Ooh yes, Grace works.
Or is there a family surname that could go in there (sounds like it might work with one)
Both lovely names already btw and congrats on your DD
Grin
Wink

crikeybadger · 29/01/2012 09:25

Agree that a one syllable one would work best. I like Maeve- but not sure on the spelling.

CountingDown321 · 29/01/2012 09:34

Reasons for a third name is that it sounds better with our surname that way, and DC1 has three names.

But we are almost at the point of giving up and going with just the two!

Though she's currently mostly known as Piglet anyway Grin

Cecily Frances Rose is beautiful. I like Grace too but think Rose works better with the other two names.

BarbieDahl · 29/01/2012 09:44

Before seeing the replies i also thought of Grace. Rose is nice as well and I also like Maud and Eve. My Dc both have 3 names so I agree with your reasoning.

NormanTheForeman · 29/01/2012 09:45

Mary?

Congratulations! Good choice!

I agree with others that one syllable would be best, so would like Rose, Joy and Grace I also like Jane or May. Pity you can't have a vowel because Eve works quite well.

3isthemagicnumber · 29/01/2012 15:58

Violet?

PopcornBiscuit · 29/01/2012 17:37

CECily FranCES has a lot of the "sis/ses" sound. Four s sounds in two names. So how about putting the middle name between the two?

MaggieAtwood · 29/01/2012 17:51

Maude?

Cecily Frances Maude is lovely.

Cewafwb · 29/01/2012 19:53

Too many sss's - What about Cecily Kate Francis or the other way around. Short and to the point - we all have three names and it gets long if they are all long if you know what I mean!

marshmallowpies · 29/01/2012 22:43

LOVE Cecily Frances. What a beautiful name.

I'd suggest...

Cecily Frances Jane
Cecily Frances Helen
Cecily Frances Rose or Rosa
Cecily Frances Anwen
Cecily Frances Gwen
Cecily Frances Laura
Cecily Frances Elinor

RobinSparkles · 29/01/2012 22:52

I think Cecily Frances sounds better together rather than breaking it up with another name in the middle!

I think you should still go for Cecily Frances Thirdname rather than Cecily Thirdname Frances.

I think Cecily Frances Rose is lovely.

QuickLookBusy · 29/01/2012 22:53

Agree with Cew that there a lot of ssss but I think you should stick with Cecily Frances as it is so lovely.

I think you should have a short unflowery name as a third.

I like

Cecily Frances Jane
Cecily Frances May
Cecily Frances Anne
