Would anyone call their dc Winston or is it a dogs name now?

Churchill does spring to mind - the dog as well as the PM.

Billie Piper's little boy is called Winston.

I don't like it particularly Winnie...but it has come up a few times on here so obviously not just a dog's name!

When I think Winston I think of that black guy in eastenders - the extra that's been in it forever - my DP had a big black cat as a teenager and called it Winston after him lol

i do know a couple of dogs named winston, but also a couple of men...

and its the 1984 hero so i reckon its a great name!

I don't like it, I do like Duncan. Same number of sylablles and a super name.

Good name if you are an elderly Jamaican man - otherwise not so much.

I was thinking either elderly Jamaican man, or chubby white middle class baby. I think it will be getting slightly more popular in the next few years. Never met a dog called Winston.

I think it's a good, solid name.

Not looking to use it, just wondered on opinions as not heard much.
