I love it!

PopcornBiscuit · 27/01/2012 22:20

Churchill does spring to mind - the dog as well as the PM.

staylucky · 28/01/2012 07:34

Cool name. All babies look like little
Churchill's when they're born anyhow!

Sparklingbrook · 28/01/2012 07:39

Billie Piper's little boy is called Winston.

Montsti · 28/01/2012 14:36

I don't like it particularly Winnie...but it has come up a few times on here so obviously not just a dog's name!

OneLieIn · 28/01/2012 15:26

When I think Winston I think of that black guy in eastenders - the extra that's been in it forever - my DP had a big black cat as a teenager and called it Winston after him lol

TinkerMaloo · 02/02/2012 20:58

i do know a couple of dogs named winston, but also a couple of men...

and its the 1984 hero so i reckon its a great name!

Rhubarbgarden · 03/02/2012 08:11

1984

kreecherlivesupstairs · 03/02/2012 08:26

I don't like it, I do like Duncan. Same number of sylablles and a super name.

MamaLazarou · 03/02/2012 18:33

I love it. It doesn't go with our surname, but otherwise it would be on our shortlist.

MrsChemist · 03/02/2012 18:36

Would you be ok with the nickname Winst?

takeonboard · 03/02/2012 18:38

love it!

eatyourveg · 03/02/2012 18:52

Oh dear!

BoringSchoolChoiceNickname · 03/02/2012 18:53

Good name if you are an elderly Jamaican man - otherwise not so much.

LynetteScavo · 03/02/2012 18:55

I was thinking either elderly Jamaican man, or chubby white middle class baby. I think it will be getting slightly more popular in the next few years. Never met a dog called Winston.

I think it's a good, solid name.

MamaMaiasaura · 03/02/2012 19:14

Not looking to use it, just wondered on opinions as not heard much. Smile
