...French name, meaning Princess, pronounced May-lee. Would this cross over well into UK? Opinions? TYIA x

I think so.

I might ditch the umlaut, for ease of spelling, but the name itself is fine.

I really like Mailie, I know a little 5 year old one spelt Maillie and nobody seems to have a problem with it.

Sounds a bit like male... might get people asking "where's femaley?"

I like it and am sure people will learn how to pronounce very quickly.

I would pronounce it my-el-ee with the umlaut. Like Maëlle.

Only if you want to condem her to a life time of haveing to spell her name.
