Prefer Beatrice. Beatrix is a little too try hard.

MN is going to be Harriet Primrose (I have so many names I want to use)

Beatrice is lovely, and softer than Beatrix. The latter makes me think dominatrix, sorry.

Well in that case: Beatrice Harriet Primrose is just divine and flows much better than Beatrix imo. And after 3 boys..very girly, i like!!

I love Beatrix. I think it is much more interesting and far prettier than Beatrice. Harriet and Primrose are lovely MNs.

I really like both. I have a Beatrice (went for that as thought it was "softer") but on reflection I think they are both as nice. Beatrice seems to be fairly popular according to MN but I've never met another. My DD's nn is Bea-Bea; she's only 2 so it's ok for now. Think Bea will be more appropriate when she's a teenager!
