Nn Nate? What are people's thoughts? Not preg, just thinking. :)

Middle name would be Frederick...does that sound better with Nathan or Nathaniel?

I love Nate but for some reason I really detest Nathan. I don't why, it just sounds a bit 'thick' the sound of the name I mean, not the child's intelligence!

Conversely, I love Nathaniel.

I like it! Maybe prefer Nathaniel tho

I do really like Nathaniel, but is Nathaniel Frederick a bit long? :)

I knew a lovely Nathan, so I find it a great name :)

I have a Sam and next time would like a short, sort of easy-going boy's name that isn't super popular...I love Jack, Will, Ben, but there are so many!

Nate is a bit more unusual. :)

Love love love Nathan! It will be our DC name if he's a he!!
Like the nn Nath but like Nate too.
Like Nathaniel too but we have a long surname so we'd stick with Nathan.

Excellent choice!!

Funnily enough, DH suggested this if we have DS2 (only just started TTC again so getting a bit ahead of ourselves!) I do really like it, but it was my friend's little brother's name when I was younger. He was a lovely child, but at the time it was a v. unusual name where we lived so think the name will always be him iyswim. Would possibly consider Nathaniel as an alternative, but not as keen on it.

I like it more the more I think about it. :)
