Hi, I'm not due until September so plenty of time to think about names and make up our minds, but what do you think about this for a girl?

Elspeth Iris Penelope

We liked Elspeth for DS if he had been a girl and the other two names are family names and we are definate that we will be having them as middle names.

If you have any other suggestions for first names that would go well with those two middle names, feel free to suggest. :)

Thank you.

Even though I don't particularly like Iris, I think the name as a whole is lovely as Elspeth and Penelope are gorgeous.

Beautiful combo!

Actually I think I prefer the flow of Elspeth Penelope Iris as the s sound isn't repeated right after Elspeth.

Really lovely. Love Elsie and Elsa as possible shortenings for Elspeth.

Agree that Elspeth Penelope sounds better. Eslpeth Iris too similar. If you want both middle names I'd say Elspeth Penelope Iris flows better.

Agree with bird, Elspeth Penelope Iris sounds better.

Thank you for the replies. I was worried about whether Iris really worked after Elspeth, but I wasn't sure. :)

I wouldn't worry about the order of the middle names too much, how often do we really use our middle names and DD could easily be a DS anyway Smile.
